Dr. Blake Jones was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated from Calvary Day School then attended Georgia Southern University and Armstrong Atlantic State University where he played basketball. Dr. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in Cell/Molecular Biology from Armstrong. In 2017, he graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Dr. Jones continued his education, completing a residency program AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. During this time, Dr. Jones focused on cosmetic, implant and sedation dentistry. Dr. Jones is passionate about the personal relationships that can be built with patients and believes it is an incredible profession that can be used as a stepping stone for ministry work and sharing the gospel. While in school, Dr. Jones started an organization called HIM ministries (Hearts for International Missions) while visiting Romania on a mission trip. He was involved in the efforts to create and manage a dental and health clinic in the area. Dr. Jones wishes to continue his ministry and care for others now that he is back at home in Savannah.
